                      Blessed (well off) are the peacemakers for they shall be called children (sons) of God.

VI  BLESSED (WELL OFF) ARE THE PEACEMAKERS FOR THEY SHALL BE CALLED CHILDREN (SONS) OF GOD
                                          
Basic to all our relationships is the fact that we are members of God’s family as sons and daughters.  We pray not to be excluded from His family as will happen when, at the final judgment when he condemns the selfish ones with the words, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven.  Matthew 7:21-23. 

To be a part of God’s family – we are told we must do the will of Jesus’s Father who is in heaven.  What is the Father’s will?  First: Bring the peace of Jesus into our own life.  As a spiritual child of God, it is expected that we obey what God’s son has told us, namely, to carry out his teachings and those of the Church he founded since it is guided in matters of faith and morals by the Holy Spirit.   

We strengthen and build up the Body of Christ on earth through our faith, prayer, good works and efforts to unite everyone in one love for God.
